A Chinese fan painting by Wang, Ren Shou (1875-1936). The painting is dated 1925. Mr. Wang Ren Shou was a famous scholar and calligrapher in late Qing dynasty and early Republic period. This painting is painted with excellent skills and good scholar taste. The facial expression and the trees were painted with good details. Very good condition.

This fine pottery head was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It has been "cold painted" in a base coat of white pigment on top of which have been painted pink, red and black pigments to pick out the facial details.

These bottles are decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and colored enamels with a design of various painted fans floating on an iron red enamel ground that is covered with gilt spirals. The interiors and mouthrims are clear glazed. The bases are glazed clear and the footrings are unglazed, exposing the fine white porcelain paste.
