A Chinese fan painting by Wang, Ren Shou (1875-1936). The painting is dated 1925. Mr. Wang Ren Shou was a famous scholar and calligrapher in late Qing dynasty and early Republic period. This painting is painted with excellent skills and good scholar taste. The facial expression and the trees were painted with good details. Very good condition.

Composed of a spherical body, a high rim, a tubular spout and a high handle this piece is treated with a thick, white slip. It is further embellished with brown and black painted decoration on the body and spout of the vessel. This pair of porcelain bottles with stoppers was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the late 19th century. They are 5 inches high, including the stoppers. The porcelain bodies have flowers and scallops molded into them. They are hand painted with buttercup flowers and foliage. There is a blue butterfly on each bottle. This fine pottery figure of a warrior, or soldier, was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906).
