Made from a type of plastic (possibly celluloid) with delicate hand painted features, dressed in a detailed regional costume of Bretagne (Brittany). The costume appears to be of a style found in the area around Pont Aven. The face of the doll is of a mature woman not a child. The child wears a white dress with a large pink sash; she has curly blond hair and bright blue eyes. Very rare cast bronze sculpture of the Chinese monk Xuanzang with a pile of Buddhist scriptures rolled up and stacked in the pack on his back and a lotus leaf over his head from which dangles an incense burner, as he returns to China from India.
In his hands he was holding a scroll and a fly whisk that are now missing. Figure stands on an irregularly shaped base. Japan, mid Edo period, 18th century.

Two nicely decorated panels, one with people in an outdoors setting and the other side scene with bushes, flowers and a bird standing on a branch.

There is a Kutani mark in the inner handle.
This Kutani vase is in very good condition, no damages and no repairs.
Lavender over amber and colorless cameo vase by DeVez measuring 4 ½ inches tall and 4 ½ inches in diameter. The vase features a mountain, village and lake scene with boat with a top border of flowers and foliage. A differntly shaped vase with the same scene is illustrated in Blount’s “French Cameo Glass” photo 174b on page 107. The cameo signature is illustrated in the same book on page 148 as signature 110. Excellent condition.
Pastel Blue Favrile low compote or candy dish in the rice pattern. The compote is 5 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches tall. The rim of the compote has an onion skin border and the foot, which has an opal rim, has a polished pontil mark on which appears the signature “L.C.T. Favrile 5-1776.”

She is wearing a mesh shirt and matching headdress and is adorned with a painted necklace, large ear ornaments and facial décor. Intact, with vivid paint and good mineral deposits.
