These spoons are quite interesting. All are in the aesthetic taste. The largest spoons marked Gorham sterling with a number 1995. It is 3” in length and is the shape of a shovel. Sterling silver slotted spoon in Medallion pattern. Made by Gorham, C 1875. Tapering and curved handle terminating in circular bowl. Handle decorated with linear ornament, scrollwork, flower, and woman’s profile on medallion. Bowl has scalloped rim, piercing, and gilt residue. An early example of the historic Gorham pattern.
