Art Deco sterling silver tea set. Made by Christofle, C 1925. Comprises 1 teapot with hinged cover, 1 cream jug, and 1 sugar with cover. All pieces have faceted sides, bracket handles, and stepped covers. All spouts rectangular and slanted. Bracket feet on tea kettle stand. The tea kettle and stand are silver plate. All other pieces sterling silver. A fine service that captures the novelty and daring of Art Deco. Fully hallmarked. Excellent condition. A delicate and tawny patina.
