Art Deco sterling silver cocktail shaker. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1925. Straight and tapering bowl with curved shoulder, high bracket handle, short neck with overhanging flat-topped cover, and stubby, tapering spout with chained cap. Spare functional design ornamented with tooled bands. Holds three pints of stylish fun. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 20622 (first produced in 1925), and director’s letter m. Sterling silver neck collar with imbricated leaf borders. Hinged bun cover same; top has chased garland, ribbon, crisscrossing horns of plenty, and laurel wreath surmounted by crown engraved with interlaced script monogram. American Modern sterling silver flask, ca 1920. Rectilinear and curved; cover hinged, threaded, and cork-lined. Front engraved with a camel, a paragon of drought survival, standing on parched ground with scattered shoots of greenery. In background are palm trees and pyramids.
