George VI flask. Made by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield in 1937. Sterling silver neck with hinged and cork-lined cover. Flask is made of clear glass. Top part is in leather with cut-away vertical windows to measure how much is left. Bottom part is encased in sterling silver. A late Empire version of a traditional form. Hallmarked. Excellent condition.
