Rather unusual 19th century votive Indian bronze sculpture of Sri Devi holding a closed lotus in her right hand and standing on the back of an elephant. The base of Devi’s statue slides into a slot on the back of the elephant: this 2-part piece is a base for a lotus flower incense burner with folding petals (absent), which screws on the top pf Devi’s head.
