The samples taken from this vessel for the authentication tests of Oxford Authentication Ltd are numbered C106s27. Date of production shown by the test results: Neolithic period (ca. 3000 BC - 2000 BC); Culture: Longshan Culture; Condition: ridiculously perfect, even the tips are intact (The tripod vessels at the V & A, Musee Guimet and Hong Kong Museum of Art were all smashed and restored. They should have bought this to replace the ones on display!!) When you scratch it all over its surface lightly with a coin, the sound is consistent wherever the coin scratches. So, it was not restored. ; Height: 11.5 inches, Width: 7.5 inches.
