This is an exceptional piece of antique Islamic silverwork, a bracelet that dates back to the 10th to 15th century A.D. The bracelet's circular form is hollow and crafted with great care and attention to detail. The metalwork has been created using two techniques: repousse and incised silver. Repousse is a method of pushing metal from the back to create a raised design on the front, while incising refers to the process of cutting or engraving lines into the metal.
