Antique early 19th century or earlier Islamic Turkish Ottoman bronze hawking drum known as Nakare. A squat domed form body with square lug finial pierced with a hole for suspension rope, engraved with decorative concentric bands. It is also engraved with an Arabic script that runs around the outer half of the drum, “Syed Mahmoud, Son of Syed Lesa” and the Hijri date 1232 (circa 1816 AD).

It is possible that the inscription was engraved for the new owner, and the drum is much older.

Antique 18th-19th century Korean silver-inlaid iron tobacco box with sliding lid, Korea, Joseon dynasty (1392–1910).

The rectangular box made of hand-forged iron is adorned with silver inlaid bamboo branches, peony blossoms, and a crane standing beside a pine tree on three sides.

The box has a sliding cover that is silver inlaid with Korean script. The fourth side of the box has a shaped brass lock plate and handle, and small brass feet are attached to the bottom of the box.

Antique Japanese Edo period 1600-1868, Samurai war hat Nirayama Jingasa kabuto made of finely hand-woven bamboo fiber with a black lacquered exterior, adorned on each side with gold samurai nobility family crest - moon. The interior is lacquered with red urushi.
