Antique, European gunpowder flask in a characteristic flattened form from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries for a matchlock or wheel lock gun.

It consists of a curved pressed cow horn body with beveled edges and a wooden buttplate fitted with an oval iron plate secured with a brass domed pin. Antique Late 19th-century beautiful pair of silver plated, Polish Jewish Sabbath candlesticks made by famous maker "FRAGET in WARSAW." The candlesticks are made in the classic Polish "petticoat" style set above and below with skirted foliate knops.
