A superb quality antique Chinese large headdress ornament of elaborate lobed shape, 18th -19th century (Qing Dynasty), China.
Composed of several separate elements made of filigree silver and adorned with a small embossed rosette.
The ornament has a large convex form with a gilded flower-head rosette placed in the center with a central round, beveled black stone (probably Onyx), flanked by two crescent-shaped ornaments.
The reverse affixes with attachment mount on which small rectangular silver hallmarks are stamped (on the loops).
CONDITION: In good condition, no damage, repairs, or restorations.
MEASUREMENTS: 7.6 cm x 6 cm (3 inches x 2.4 inches)
WEIGHT: 33.5 grams (1.2 ounces)
