Antique 12th century A.D. Ayyubid period Islamic ceramic Raqqa jar of pear-shaped form on short foot with flaring neck painted on the shoulder underglaze with three black bands on a white ground.

MEASUREMENTS:

Height: 9.6 cm (3.78 inches). Diameter: 8.3 cm (3.27 inches).

Condition: rim of the neck and the foot chipped, some wear, chips, and flakes in the glaze.
