Guest Book

A chinese porcelain vase (yuhuchunping) covered in a copper red / sang de boeuf glaze. There is a 6 character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue to the base.

Dating from the late Qing/ Republic period, it stands 20.1 cms high and weighs 696 gms.

The colour of the bulbous section of the vase is slightly darker on one side and there are minuscule specks of greenish colour. (It may be that this was meant to be a peach-bloom vase)

N.B. Due to lighting conditions the colour in the photos is a little lighter than the actual colour.

There are a couple of frits to the rim (see photos). It is in otherwise very good condition.
