A rare pair of Pearlware pottery figures depicting Venus and Neptune made in Staffordshire during either the late 18th or very early 19th Century. A similar pair of figures are illustrated in "The price Guide to 18th Century English Pottery" by Sally Mount, published by the Antique Collectors' Club (1972). Condition: there are some losses to the enamel colours; no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. 23.5cm (9.25 inches) high.

A rare pair of apple green glazed candle holders designed by William Howson Taylor and made at the Ruskin Pottery works in Smethwick, near Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. Both candlesticks have an impressed 1908 datemark to the base. Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs. 16cm (6.3 inches) high; 11.5cm (4.5 inches) diameter at the base.

A rare porcelain tea bowl and saucer painted with the "bird on the branch" pattern in under glaze blue and decorated with over glaze iron red and gold in imitation of "Chinese Imari" style. This item was made in the Shaws Brow factory of the Liverpool company, Philip Christian, circa 1765-1778. Condition: excellent - no chips or cracks and very little wear to the over glaze decoration. Bowl: 4.5cm (1.75 inches) high; 8.5cm (3.3 inches) diameter. Saucer: 13cm (5.1 inches) diameter.

A wheel thrown transfer printed and hand painted double-handled "Loving" Chamber Pot made as a novelty wedding gift "Marrige Present", circa 1840, in either Sunderland or Staffordshire. Condition : there is a re-glued old break to one handle; and there is a curved crack to the rim on the underside which is less shorter on the upper side and does not reach the rim (please view enlargements 6 & 7); no further damages and no restoration. 21.5cm (8.5 inches) diameter; 13cm (5.2 inches) high. A rare 18th Century Liverpool porcelain teapot finely painted with Chinese style "Famille Rose" polychrome enamels. This item was made, circa 1760-1770, by one of two Liverpool makers - either Richard Chaffers & Co (1754-1765) or Phillip Christian (1765-1778) - who consecutively occupied the same factory on Shaws Brow.
