A heavy 19th Century lotus shaped porcelain deep bowl decorated on the outside with famille rose enamels depicting a dignatory and boys in a garden landscape. The base bears the six character seal mark ( painted in iron red) of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874). Condition: very good - there is wear to the turquoise glazed interior but no damages and no restoration. 14.5 cm diameter; 6 cm deep

A ten sided double bodied Yixing stoneware teapot decorated in Scholar's Taste and bearing an inscription in white enamel which reads "Ba Dou Gao Cai" ( which can translate as "Full of Talent") and with "Tian Gong" ("Heavenly Palace" or "Paradise") under pink enamel.

This item was made from Zisha clay in Yixing, China, during the late 19th or early 20th Century.

Condition: the single cover has a piece missing and has been broken and glued; no further damages and no restoration.

清末民初 宜兴紫砂加彩书卷形双连壶 壶身用白色书“八斗高才”，粉色“钤印”处写有“天宫”。做于19世纪末至20世纪初。

An unusual Pith / 'Rice' paper picture, delicately painted with a scene from a dramatization of "The Death of Ma Su" who was a famous General under the command of Scholar, Inventor and Political and Military Strategist Zhu Ge Liang (181-234 AD). This story is to be found in the historical novel the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and also in the Peking opera "Loss of Jieting". This picture was painted in China during the 19th Century, probably as one of a series of pictures, and is now mounted in a later frame.

Condition: good - there are some splits and losses to the plain pith paper background but no damages to the painted area; there have been no repairs or restoration.

Frame: 31.5cm (12.3inches) wide; 20.3cm (8inches) high.

A rare and very finely enamelled 18th Century Wucai Dragon and Phoenix Bowl - Qianlong mark and of the period (1736-1795).

Condition - there are three rim chips, three long hairline cracks and one short under the glaze hairline (please view enlargements); there has been no restoration.

A moulded porcelain chrysanthemum shaped bowl decorated on the outside in blue and white enamels with stylized scrolling lotus flowers and bats 'Fu' (good luck). Incorporated within this pattern are three overglaze red and gold 'Shou' (long life) characters. The base carries the iron red reign mark of the Daoguang emperor (1821-1850). This item was made in China, in the mid 19th Century, for export to the Malaysian "Straits" Chinese community. A rare pair of carved wooden figures made in China during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period. The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages. A pair of unusual late 19th Century relief moulded cylindrical shaped hat stands painted with panels depicting gentlemen with attendants in a garden landscape, the borders are decorated with Buddhistic precious objects and flower sprays reserved against a yellow ground. On the base is the four character iron red seal mark of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). These are probably Nyonya wares, made for export to the Malaysian "Straits Chinese" community . Condition - good - there are small rim chips and frits and there is a light hairline to the body of one vase /hat stand (please view enlargement 10); no further damages and no restoration. 27.8cm (10.9 inches) high; 10cm (4 inches) diameter. A six-sided porcelain wine pot warmer painted in Qianjiang style with a scene on one side from a Chinese opera relating to stories from the Three Kingdoms period. On the other side is a poem which we have, as yet, been unable to read. It is signed and dated to 1903. Condition - very good - there are glaze imperfections and there are two chips to the base rim (please view enlargement 2); no further damages and no restoration. 10.7cm (4.2inches) high; 10cm (4inches) across. 稀有的浅绛彩温酒壶 光绪 1903年 一件浅绛彩六方温酒壶，彩绘戏曲三国人物故事。另一面有七言诗两句，尚无法辨认。有署名（见图9）及年代（见图8，癸卯年即1903年）。 品相：很好。釉面有缺陷，底足有两处磕口（见图2）；无其他损伤或修复。高10.7厘米，宽10厘米。

A large and heavy, partially gilded, Mandalay style marble Buddha finely carved in 19th Century Burma (Myanmar). A porcelain coffee 'can' / cup painted with a river lanscape in Chinese Imari' style in underglaze blue and overglaze iron red and very unusually made in the form of a small European ale tankard. This very scarce item was made in China for export in the early 18th century, during the reign of either the Kangxi (1662-1722) or Yongzheng (1723-1735) emperors. Condition: excellent there is production "fritting" (glaze loss) to the base ridges but no chips, cracks or restoration. 6.8cm (2.8 inches) high; 5.6cm (2.25 inches) diameter. A finely embroidered silk River or Lakeside Landscape made in Japan for export during the late 19th or early 20th Century. This item was framed in the UK by Boots the Chemist's, circa 1910 - 1925 Condition: excellent. Frame: 37cm (14.5 inches) wide;29.3cm (11.5 inches) high.

A bronze vase finely cast in archaic Chinese style with twin elephant head handles and very unusually decorated with 16th Century Turkish Iznik/ Kutahya style 'Saza' leaves in red, blue, green and black enamels. The Made in Japan mark to the base indicates that this item was made in Japan (for export) post 1890. An elaborately inlaid three drawer marquetry cabinet, unusually, with tambour doors. This item was made in Japan, for export, during the late 19th or early 20th century. In very good used condition; there is one small piece of veneer missing from the top back corner of the right side; no further losses, no restoration and no alterations. 23 cm (9 inches) high; 24.5 cm (9.5 inches) high.

A rare finely painted pair of underglaze blue decorated dragon and phoenix 'wedding' dishes made in Jingdezhen, southern China, and exported to Europe in the late 19th or early 20th Century during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition: there are some production iron marks;there is a 1.5cm hairline visible on the back of the phoenix dish and there is a light 2.5cm hairline to the rim of the dragon dish.
