A small French Impressionist style oil on board, entitled "London: Sunset at Hammersmith" by Italian born Piero Sansalvadore. Sansalvadore arrived in London, circa 1930, and started painting late in life. The majority of his pictures were produced during the 1930s and 1940s. Some of his paintings are on display at the Guidhall Art Gallery, London and four are in the Royal Collection, purchased by Queen Mary (the Queen Mother) in December 1938 from an exhibition at the Fine Art Society. Condition: there is minor paint loss to the top edge; un-retouched and not restored in its original (circa 1930s) frame. 9.5cm wide; 7.5cm (high)

A watercolour depicting a romanticised rural harvest scene painted by popular Victorian artist and illustrator, Myles Birket Foster (1825-1899). Condition: in its original ('distressed') inner frame;the painting is un-restored with some water marking but with no tears or losses. 34cm(13.3 inches) wide; 24cm (9.3 inches) high. 维多利亚时期皇家水彩画协会会员Myles Birket Foster所绘水彩人物，1875年左右 此画描绘了乡村里的秋收情景，为维多利亚世纪有名画家Myles Birket Foster (1825-1899)所做。 品相：原装画框（有损伤），无修复，有水渍，但无撕裂或缺失。 宽34厘米，高24厘米。

A very rare African style "Crucifixion" form bronze sculpture by post-war Liverpool Artist Arthur Dooley (1929-1994) possibly entitled 'Einstein E = MC2', made circa 1968-1969. We are not aware of any other bronzes in this form by the Artist. We have a Certificate of Authenticity for this item which is co-signed by the Arthur Dooley Estate and the Official Arthur Dooley Archive. Condition: Excellent. A charming, signed, pastel portrait by Dorothy Colles (1917-2003) who was (according to an obituary published in the Independent newspaper) "gifted in portraits of children". This picture was drawn circa 1963 (please see our other Colles picture) and was a commissioned piece for an advertising poster. Dorothy Colles has exhibited through the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painting. Condition - excellent. The picture 20 inches by 17.7 inches (51cm x 45cm). The original frame - 23.8 inches by 21.7 inches (60cm x 55cm).
