A well modelled finely cast and carved seated bronze Buddha, with very dark old patination, made in Kandy (central Sri Lanka) during either the 18th or 19th Century. There is a very similarly styled figure currently on display on the ground floor of the Victoria and Albert Museum (London): No. IS.127-1964 (Given by Havelock Pinkey).

Condition: excellent - no damages or losses and no repairs or restoration. Only traces of the original gilding remain. Unusually the base plate is still intact.

斯里兰卡铜制佛坐像 18/19世纪

整个佛像制作精美，有深色包浆，作于18或19世纪的康提（斯里兰卡中部城市）。类似风格的佛像，现有一座在维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆一层展出，编号 IS.127-1964 （Havelock Pinkey捐赠）。

品相：完好。无损伤或缺失，无修补，无修复。佛像上的镀金只有一小部分残存。底座镶板仍然完好。高24.5厘米。
