Japanese Studio Celadon Tea Master by Suwa Sozan
He is 6.25 inches (15.8 cm) tall, and 7 inches (17.7 cm) wide.
He is in good condition with no repairs, nor chips, except some glaze cracks (as seen in the photos).
Suwa Sozan (1851-1922) worked with Kinkozan until 1906 then set up his own workshop. He specialized in ceramic carving and making celadon. He was made an Imperial Artist in 1917.
