Frontispiece is an old photo of an woman presumed to be Ms. Folwell protected by tissue. One other photo, also tissue protected of "The Old House". Most poems are dated, i.e. Third Month, Eighteen Fifty-Seven. As noted in the second photo (which was from a scanner) there spots on the page. This is though out the book. The FFEP has two gift inscriptions, the second was given in remembrance of the first, in 1898. The 2nd PO then gave it to her daughter in 1924 as noted on the 2nd front end page. Pages have gilt edges. Brown boards with Gilt lettering and design.
