A finely carved rare jade cat from the Chinese dynasty of Song to Ming period. Large size of its kind. Vivid carving details. A finely carved Chinese jade plaque made of an old jade. In old China, the scholars often like things from the archaic period. There were many examples of people modify archaic jade or carve with archaic jade material. This jade plaque is very likely to be one of them. The old jade gives scholar the feel of history. The plaque is 2.25" tall. It is in good condition as shown in the photos.
Rare antique Chinese jade bangle likely from the Liao or Xixia, which was about 1000 AC.
The jade with dark spots are typical of that period, which jade material is hard to find today.
The bangle is decorated with eight horses and some characters. The characters looks like ancient Chinese
but can not be read. Liao and XiXia used characters, which looked like Chinese, but were not Chinese.
The horses were walking, running, rolling.....
A very rare white jade carving of a boy flying above clouds and holding Ruyi flower above him. The carving was from Yuan-Ming period. The boy's face is delicately engraved in a fine low relief, giving him broadened features and wide, bulging cheeks. His hair is tied with ribbons in very well engraved bunches.

A charming and beautifully carved white jade wrist rest from Chinese Kangxi period, 17-18th century. This scholar's wrist rest carved with a typical scene of Kangxi period as a deer standing under the pine trees, which indicates the scholar's pursuing spiritual life of complete resting in the nature.
