A pair of chairs constructed from elm wood designed with a slightly tilted crest rail that make way to the well-matched splats, each with an openwork design at the top, in the middle a square carved in deep relief and the bottom with a scrolling design. Both the humpback shaped arms and rear stiles are carved with a pointed half scroll to make the frame. The apron carved with a double scroll at the center and the feet carved in horse-hoof style with single scrolls at each inner corner.

Wood: Northern Elm (Yumu)

Condition: In excellent condition with some wear, consistent with the age of the chair.
