This unusually shaped bronze censer has a foliate quatrefoil form and two nail like handles on either side. It has a rich, deep, dark patina. The undecorated exterior walls are not perfectly smooth and you can see what appears to be casting marks. The bottom also shows casting marks, as though the piece wasn’t polished perfectly.
