Delightful, small, colorful well carved glass snuff bottle that lets the yellow come through the aubergine glass. It feels good in the hand and could be carried easily.

Amphora shaped cased glass snuff bottle with a short narrow neck to a round mouth. A small carved agate bead makes the lid to the bottle. The spoon is missing to the lid. There is a nice weight to the glass and it has a well hollowed interior. The outer aubergine colored glass has been ground down to let the under yellow glass show through. When held to the light there is an inner yellow glow. The base is flat with rounded edges. All of the edges to the bottle are well rounded and feel good.

2 1/8” (5.4 cm)tall x 1” (2.5 cm). Weighs 1.4 oz (40 g)

There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. There is slight wear scratches to the glass but they are very tiny. This shows age as well as the smooth feel to the glass from oxidation.

A great snuff bottle to add to a collection. I love how the bottle looks under a light. When light is focused on the agate cap, both the cap and the base glow.
