Very well carved bamboo brush pot with a design of scholars relaxing in a garden. The bamboo is well hollowed out and has a nice rich color.

A thin walled piece of bamboo with a tight grain and a darker honey color that has been well hollowed out and carved. The brush pot has an oval shape. The carving has a lot of detail with the leaves in the tree, scrolls, and even the scholars beard all having a nice depth and sharpness. The piece is not heavy and the out surface of the bamboo has a nice soft feel.
