Unusual bound feet shoes with raised heels and fabric overhang flaps at the back. They are in excellent condition.

This pair of shoes are made from cotton and silk with turquoise brocade silk at the on the lower front. Above this band is red cotton with silk bands. The openings of the shoes are a light colored cotton. The lining on the inside is turquoise fabric lined with soft cotton. There are fabric over hanging flaps at the back in light colored coarse cotton fabric with backs of turquoise silk. Under the flaps are dark navy cotton fabric. The soles are a light colored quilted fabric. There are raised circular heels with quilted blue soles.

Approximately 4 ¼” (10.8 cm) long x 1 7/8” (4.8 cm) wide x 3 ¼” (8.3 cm) tall. Weighs 2.9 oz (80 g)

The shoes were never worn, as they are in such good condition. There are no loose threads or tears. The overhanging flaps look soiled and aged. The fabric edges to the shoe openings look faded. The fabric on the side of the heels shows some fading. The rest of the shoe fabric does not look faded. There are small soiled or age spots.

An amazingly small pair of bound feet shoes, that step right out of history. They are tiny works of fabric art.
