An over-the -op Victorian Tea set consisting of a creamer, sugar and a spooner. The set is the epitome of the Victorian Aesthetic Movement. Can we get another design element on this set?

A three piece set of a creamer, spooner and sugar with unusual square shape. The handles have a beaded and bundle appearance with leaf flourish attachments. The bodies are decorated with panels of apple blossoms, cherries and flocks of birds. These are banded by flowering branches and Egyptian designs. They all rest on ornate Egyptian pharaoh heads. The sugar has a round snug fitting lid with a floral flourish finial. The base metal looks like its copper as you can see some copper highlights through the silver, and it’s not magnetic. The base metal is heavy. The repousse work is deep and crisp.

There are the marks of the ROCKFORD SILVER P. CO. on the base of each piece. It has a scale design with the word QUADRUPLE as the mark.

Creamer 4 ½” (11.4 cm) tall x 4 ¼” (10.8 cm) wide x 3” (22.9 cm) deep
Spooner 4 3/8” (11 cm) tall x 5 ½” (14.0 cm) wide x 3 ¼” (8.3 cm) deep
Sugar 6 3/4” (17.1 cm) tall x 6” (15.2 cm) wide x 3 ¾” (9.5 cm) deep
Total weight 2 lb 12.8 oz (1270 g)

There are no dents, cracks, or breaks. Silver is worn in places but they have polished up pretty well. There are small nicks on the rims. Re-plating would make these disappear.

A high end, wonderful, over the top, ornate, unique set of Victorian Aesthetic Movement silver plate to add to your Victorian collection. You need this set.
