Delicately painted, well-potted, colorful Chinese porcelain dishes with a floral motif. They match color wise and pattern but they are all still unique.

Oval medium weight porcelain set of six dishes with colorful peonies, mums, magnolias and lotus on turquoise background. The black edging along the leaves and stems help them really stand out from the background. The background glaze is thin and shows lighter and darker areas. All of the over glaze enamels are shiny and smooth to the touch. The glaze is well controlled, stopping at the foot. The unglazed bases have a buff color with red dots.

The dishes do not have any porcelain marks or labels.

Each plate measures approximately 8 ¾” (22.2 cm) long x 6 3/8” (16.2 cm) wide x 7/8” (2.2 cm) tall.
Set weighs 4 lb 13.7 oz (2.20 kg)

Five of the dishes have no cracks, chips or breaks. One dish has a crack from the rim extending to the base. All the dishes have slight wear scratches. This shows age from usage. The dishes have kiln flaws in the glazes such as; dark specs, pinholes, and separations.

These dishes will make a big statement when displayed together. They shine and in the light they look like water with flowers strewn on top.
