A hand painted porcelain vase with delicate flowers and floral swags that has that British cottage garden feel.

The heavy lobbed porcelain vase is extensively painted with scrolls at the mouth, bands at the neck and shoulder, a fleur de lis at the foot, floral swags at the shoulder, and flower blossoms just about everywhere else. The base glaze is a bumpy orange peel white glaze.

The vase was molded and you can see molded ridges at the mouth, shoulder and above the foot. The word CHINA is molded into the base. The foot is unglazed but the base is glazed.

12 ¼” (31.1 cm) tall x 6” (15.2 cm) diameter. Weighs 4 lb 11.7 oz (670 g)

The vase was drilled for a lamp. There are two small chips on the mouth rim. Otherwise, there are no other chips, breaks, or cracks. The colors are bright and fresh.

A large visual vase to add to a shabby chic or English décor. Much adept hand work went into painting the myriad of flowers.
