A nice evenly-colored dark spinach green jade bat and peach have been incorporated into a pin made from silver wire.

A silver wire filigree pin has a gold wash and an old pin mount. A spinach jade carving in the shape of a bat and peach has been inset into the filigree frame. I believe the stone is older than the frame and was repurposed. The jade has a nice soft hand polish with well-rounded carving. The jade has a few black flecks when held to a light and has weight.

There are two tags on the bottom with the words SILVER and CHINA.

MEASUREMENTS
1 7/8” (4.8cm) long x 1 3/8” (3.5 cm) tall x ¼” (.6 cm) thick. Weighs .46 oz (13.1g)

CONDITION
There are no breaks, or damages to the jade. There is some wear to the gold wash; however there is still a pronounced gold color.

An elegant, rich, auspicious looking pin to be worn and admired. I love the bat symbolism.
