For sale here is a HUGE and very sculptural vintage 1940s 50s handmade sterling silver modernist cuff bracelet by Ed Wiener of New York city. One of Ed Wiener's iconic mid century modernist designs, and in great shape with no issues whatsoever! Wiener is generally regarded as one of the greatest of the modernist jewelry movement in the mid century, and his clients included sculptor Louise Nevelson and dancer/choreographer Martha Graham among many others. He was a self-taught silversmith, and he was born in New York City where he worked off and on for most of his career. Measures 2-1/4" widest at top, and presently fits a 7" to 7.5" wrist(snugly), and easily adjusted up or down a couple sizes by a professional silversmith as needed. Marked as shown, "Ed Wiener" and "Sterling". Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
