Extremely rare dish decorated in blue white, china late 18th century for export to Japan. The design is of high quality and the cobalt blue is perfectly fired. Deep blue color. The quality of the design is far superior to what we usually see on Chinese export porcelains and equals that of some imperial pieces. The decoration of the marli is particularly complex. The presence of 2 Japanese Mon allows us to think that it is a Japanese order. Probably a service for a wedding? Excellent condition...

porcelain kuan-yin enameled in iron red and copper green. Green enamel has an unusual iridescent metallic appearance that seems to be peculiar to an era or a production site. The statuette is made in a mold in 2 parts, the joint is visible below. The unglazed parts, at least the base, were covered with lacquer and gold which have disappeared leaving only traces (look photo). I attach the picture of a Guan-Yin with similar green. Usual wear. Good condition. H: 86mm

A Chinese porcelain water pipe made for the Imperial Palace in Hue. Decoration of dragons in cobalt blue underglaze. Below 4 characters in blue and, which is unusual, 4 other characters incised under glassure, perhaps the mark of the potter or the commander. The silver setting of very good quality is a fine example of fine goldsmith's work, it is perhaps -be Chinese but more probably Annamese...

A superb Chinese porcelain dish from the Ching te chen kilns marked with the reign of Kien-long and of the period. High quality, perfect designs, well-fired enamels and very white porcelain. Perfect firing and design. Restaured chip and crack (visible on photo). Diameter about 22cm. It was not me who took the initiative to restore this dish. By transparency we can see that it is not a big chip. I can remove the restoration on request.

Rare water-pot,dropper? (too little for wine and not covered for tea) for schollar in Sancai enameled porcelain, Kangxi period. Fruit-shaped, appears to be a pomegranate, with stem leaves and flower. The flower is admirably made with thin petals like paper which is daring, miraculously none is missing, however, looking with a magnifying glass we can see on the edges of small gaps that we can guess or imagine on photo but it is not obvious because the petals are naturally jagged...

Chinese porcelain dish decorated in cobalt blue underglaze. Made for the European market.18° century. Very beautiful quality of design that is found only on some imperial porcelain (not on all) and almost never on export porcelain. Also this exceptional technique of pointillist to nuance the blue. The set of rocks is composed of 10 000 points. Seeing the buffalo on loan is a real pleasure, the movement of its tail, the position of the legs. No mistake...
