Dressing table in hard wood, which I think is zitan. The style of the pediments is strongly influenced by europe and can be found on many pieces of furniture from the Kien-Long period, they are very finely carved with plants and scrolls. The mortise and tenon joints fit together perfectly and once assembled the whole is solid and stable. 2 bronze hooks hold the 2 balustrades on the right and left side, these hooks seem to be original. In the center of the drawer a plate in the shape of a bat opens in the middle in the axis of a hinge to reveal a lock entry. The cabinetwork and the finishes are meticulous.
Dimensions about 59x54cm.
The bottom of the drawer is missing.
