Very rare embossed, enamelled and gilded copper censer. It's unusual to found a box with same censor interior. Decoration of the 8 Buddhist emblems on the outside and the 5 bats of happiness on the inside. Model of excellent quality with very thick walls as well as a very beautiful gilding. Unlike fragile Chinese enamels which most often show degradation, this box, thanks to a solid construction, has stood the test of time well. It is in excellent condition.Qing period about 1800. 145 x 50 mm
