Large pendent of amber from the west coast of Denmark, of irregular tridimensional rhombus shape. Made by simply polishing a lump of amber! It has the best deep honey color with some more intense red spots. It comes with a silver necklace. A Fine Natural Baltic Amber necklace made from amber found on the the North Sea coast of Jutland, the west coast of Denmark. Opaque egg yolk / butterscotch colouring with a few smaller beads more redish colour. Olive shape beads. Largest bead 25 mm to the smallest 6 mm. Length: 55 cm. Weight: 34 g From around 1930. Condition: Great antique condition, a few beads show small chips near the thread holes due to use. The silver clasp is a later replacement.

A beautiful and large brooch with a butterscotch amber cabochon centrepiece mounted on a silver frame embellished with two pearl of green agate on the side. Stamped on the back: 830, S DTA.
