A beautiful deep vessel in the form of a kind of seashell. The inside bowl and part of the outer layer is done with his usual technique of grooving the surface with needles and rubbing iron into the grooves resulting in those great dark brown and white lines; on one side and around the upper rim, cobalt blue glaze is producing a fantastic contrasting effect.
