Da Wei Kwo, David Kwo 1919-2003 (Dawei Huaji) Lithographic print of his cat Kim. Printed by Kwo Art Studio, New York 1958. Stamped and signed with Chinese character Da Wei. David Kwo Da-Wei (1919-2003), was born in Beijing, studied art at the Art Institute of Nanjing and later under, Qi Bai-Shih. His first exhibition was held in Hong Kong in 1952. He died in the United States in 2003. He was well known for his Chinese ink paintings of Kim, his beloved black cat. Measurements: H 58x W 43 cm ( H 64 x W 50 with passe-partout) Condition. paper slightly yellow and remains of tape on the back.
