A very elegant porcelain vase of ovoid form with a small opening covered all-over in a deep, mottled red-purple glaze ( Shinsha). Signed by famous ceramic maker Yasuaki Maeda (b. 1937),* one of the leading artists in the modern revival of Arita porcelain. The vase is accompanied by a signed kiri-box. H 24 cm, D 15 cm. Condition: Perfect.
