This is a vintage celadon vase in bronze form. It used to be the major export celadon ware of state-owned factory back to the time of 1970s. This classic vase was designed in simple form with so-called 'twin-ear' at its neck. Blends beautifully with any furniture pattern for a unique decorative spot.
Outside bottom is marked with an oval green sticker “MADE IN CHINA” as a historical identification for the period. Though the state-owned factory had closed in the middle of 1990s, workers at that time still remember the products. The hard time of traditional wood firing would take 3 days to see the final result. The color tone from the wood firing Longquan celadon kiln was classic. It is totally different from the modern gas kiln.
This is a historical piece. It is mint with overall perfection except three firing pits shown on the photo and some tiny natural dark dots on the vase.
This vase is offered “AS IS”. The best “in good faith” description and photos are provided, along with history that confirmed by the ceramists who used to work there.
