A tazza, pedestal dish, with a Satsuma type earthenware, stoneware, body decorated almost entirely with totai cloisonné. The dish decorated with a snowflake shaped, yukiwa, roundel containing various autumn flowers, akikusa, set against a lilac coloured ground, set against a blue cloissone ground inset with flowers and butterflies. The reverse of the dish decorated with further butterflies, flowers and cash set against a blue cloisonné ground. Lilac ground cloisonné to the stand column. The shaped tripod foot decorated with gilt trailing foliage. The tazza is in overall good condition, no cracks, chips or restoration, some very minor losses to individual cells of the cloisonné, probably original firing flaws, that would have originally been filled with wax. The tazza is quite large having a height of 11.4cm and a diameter of 21.5cm. Shipping at Cost.
