An export dish with slightly everted rim decorated in a very dark under-glaze blue with rich gilding and reserves containing Cherry and Camelia trees in bloom, with a stylised karahana in iron red against a gold ground. The central mikomi decorated with a large handled vase on a veranda containing an arrangement of Peonies and other flowers. The reverse decorated with Peony, Chrysanthemum and Plum blossom sprigs. A set of four spurs in a Y formation within a single ring. The dish measures 24.5cm, 9.75 inches, in diameter, and stands approximately 3.5cm high at the rim, and is in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
