Rare vintage Marget de Taxco sterling Cornflower choker necklace. Made in Taxco Mexico circa 1950-60's by Margo van Voorhies Carr. Showcased in various reference books. The necklace has a wearable closed length of about 15-1/2 inches x 3/4 wide at its widest. Marked Sterling Made in Mexico, circling an old assay eagle 16, and marked Margot de Taxco. Weight about 95g. Secure push clasp. Nice age patina. Two non-original links were added on either side of the clasp links in the rear.
Matching Cornflower Pendant/brooch. The non original pendant bale/hook is on a hinge so it can fold down and non poke over the top when worn as a brooch.
