A Northern Chinese black glazed, four-handled, jar. There is an unusual and attractive 'Cloud and Thunder' meander around the shoulder. A Korean, Buncheon, celadon stand with slip applied floral decoration to the exterior. This foliated stand is heavily potted and has a moulded border of a ruyi-like motif to the interior rim. The glaze is a slightly grayish celadon. It is from the Early Joseon dynasty, circa C15-16th. The deep foot is fully glazed and has kiln grit attached. Condition is excellent. A lovely Blanc de Chine wine ewer, C17th Kangxi. Most elegantly formed, with prunus sprays applied to both sides. The glaze is white and sumptuous. The base and mouth rim are unglazed, it may have once had a lid. Height 13.8 cm. Condition is good for such a delicately shaped piece. A rare and delicately potted Cizhou-type bowl. The exterior glazed a matt brown, while the interior is a smoother, off-white colored glaze. The rim is unglazed.
