A finely potted Longquan bowl from the Southern Song - Yuan dynasty. The thick glaze is a subtle grey-green color with bluish undertones, very attractive; it is finely crackled and smooth. Diameter 14 cm. The base is glazed except for the foot rim. Condition is good: no cracks or restoration. A small area of glaze to the underside appears to be retouched. A slight variegation in the glaze color (browner) of one section of the rim points to this bowl being fired in a dragon kiln...

A beautiful Blanc de Chine libation cup, late C17th to early C18th, Kangxi. The shape is taken from the original rhinoceros horn form of libation cup. The combination of motifs found on this cup is quite unusual; sprig moulded with tiger, dragon emerging from clouds, deer and flying crane. Width approximately 13 cm. A Korean, Buncheon, celadon stand with slip applied floral decoration to the exterior. This foliated stand is heavily potted and has a moulded border of a ruyi-like motif to the interior rim. The glaze is a slightly grayish celadon. It is from the Early Joseon dynasty, circa C15-16th. The deep foot is fully glazed and has kiln grit attached. Condition is excellent. A lovely Blanc de Chine wine ewer, C17th Kangxi. Most elegantly formed, with prunus sprays applied to both sides. The glaze is white and sumptuous. The base and mouth rim are unglazed, it may have once had a lid. Height 13.8 cm. Condition is good for such a delicately shaped piece. There is some nibbling to the end of the spout; glaze shows that the spout has not been reduced. No cracks. Additional photos are available upon request.

A rare and delicately potted Cizhou-type bowl. The exterior glazed a matt brown, while the interior is a smoother, off-white colored glaze. The rim is unglazed. The foot is well made, and fully glazed. From the Northern Song dynasty, C11-12th. Diameter 15.5 cm. Condition is not perfect (hence the price). It exhibits some rust colored leaching, and has a hairline crack, and firing fault to the exterior. There is some degradation to the glaze. A rare and attractive piece, nonetheless...

A nicely potted, Southern Song dynasty, qingbai bowl with incised, double fish, motif to the interior. The bowl has a beautiful and subtle light blue glaze, apart from the unglazed rim and inner foot. The inner foot is burnt a pale orange. Six faint, radiating, lines divide the bowl's interior.
