A finely potted Longquan bowl from the Southern Song - Yuan dynasty. The thick glaze is a subtle grey-green color with bluish undertones, very attractive; it is finely crackled and smooth. Diameter 14 cm. The base is glazed except for the foot rim. Condition is good: no cracks or restoration. A small area of glaze to the underside appears to be retouched. A slight variegation in the glaze color (browner) of one section of the rim points to this bowl being fired in a dragon kiln...

A rare and delicately potted Cizhou-type bowl. The exterior glazed a matt brown, while the interior is a smoother, off-white colored glaze. The rim is unglazed. The foot is well made, and fully glazed. From the Northern Song dynasty, C11-12th. Diameter 15.5 cm. Condition is not perfect (hence the price). It exhibits some rust colored leaching, and has a hairline crack, and firing fault to the exterior. There is some degradation to the glaze. A rare and attractive piece, nonetheless...

A beautiful Dehua ware box with, crisply molded, floral decoration. C12-14th, Song to Yuan dynasty. The high-fired stoneware is glazed to the exterior, but not to the flat base. It is partially glazed to the interior. Diameter 10.25 cm. The box and cover are in good condition, apart from a small and barely noticeable star crack to the lid; which in our opinion detracts little from this attractive box. Additional photos are available upon request.
