Antique Sterling Silver Chinese Porcelain Rose Medallion
All Items : Fine Art : Prints : Serigraphs : Pre 1980 item #415176 (stock #Tarkay)
A fine serigraph by contemporary artist Isaac Tarkay (born 1935). It is numbered and signed by the artist, and with embossed seal of publisher (partial concealed by matt), see detail. Double matted and framed. Tarkay does cafe scenes reminiscent of the 1920s Toulouse Lautrec. This one is a tad unusual with the girl reading. His women remind me of Marie Laurencin. Frame 18 by 23". Image 12.5 by 16.5". Very good condition with no stains or tears.
