A complete lovely English bone china tea set for four by Paragon from the 1920-40s. It consists of a tall teapot or coffee pot creamer & sugar handled cake plate and 4 sets of cup-saucer-plate. The pattern is ""Country Lane"" in a soft pastel color. Wonderful fluted form on the tea pot. The backstamp is the lion crown Paragon with two coat of arms side by side BY APPOINTMENT to H.M. The QUEEN Fine Bone China England Regd.. Believe this is during the reign of the recently deceased Queen Mom well before WWII.
All in very good condition without chips or hairlines. Enamel & gold all intact. (black lines along rim & near handles of cake plate are all the gold which sometimes comes out dark with side flash. You can best see the color transition in the creamer handle or the cup/saucer enlargement.)
Paragon made really nice bone china tableware and always great quality-value.
