The four, colored photo greeting cards in this lot (93.336HD) were a gift in 1993 from the late Carrol Howe, one-time legislator in the Oregon House of Representatives, and a campaign manager for Richard M. Nixon during his 1967-1968 run for the Presidency. When folded, the unused cards measure 4 ¼” x 6”. When opened, they reveal a family photo of Julie, Tricia, Dick and Pat (with their printed, not original, surname signatures below) on the bottom half of the card, and a blank upper half where the Nixons might pen a personalized message. The cards came without envelopes, so none are included with the lot. On the lower back of the cards is printed in small type ‘Auth. & Pd. for by Information Committee for Nixon, 1726 Pennsylvania Ave., N. W. Washington, D. C. Herbert Kalmbach, Treasurer’. Here’s a good group that could be used as gifts to four separate Nixon memorabilia collector friends.
