A Churning-rod holder also called “ghurra” in nepalee with a house as the top, the roof is supported by 6 milk pots . The central part shows four independent sticks with an interlaced rope knot. Brown glossy patina encrusted with mineral pigment, obvious signs of long use indicating a great age, probably much over 50 years. Very precise carving. Very good condition Height 10 inches (25 cm), thickness 1 1/2 inch (4 to 4.5 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on an iron stand.
